State ACT Test for ALL Juniors - February 24, 2026

State ACT Test For All Juniors - February 24, 2026

All juniors - including Career Center, CollegeNOW, and CCP students - have the option to take a state ACT test on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, here in our building during the school day. The ACT is a college readiness test and consists of 4 sections: English, Math, Reading and Science and may be used for college admissions and for scholarships.
All juniors testing should plan to report to AHS by 7:30 a.m. on testing day. Students will register for this specific test only during the school day in late January, and this specific ACT test only is free.
For all other ACT testing, students must create an account at www.act.org/bts and register/pay online. At least two ACT scores are recommended for college-bound students before the start of their senior year when they are focusing on college applications and scholarship applications.

For those juniors who do not test, they will attend school and follow their regular schedule. If an opt out form is not returned, it is expected that the student will take the test on February 24.
